Minor league report - Pouliot scores twice as Penguins beat Bears

Two goals by defenseman Derrick Pouliot led the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (14-9-1-1) to a 3-2 road win against the rival Hershey Bears Sunday.

Right winger Tom Kostopoulos recorded two assists for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton while goaltender Jeff Zatkoff made 30 saves in the victory. Head coach John Hynes recorded his 200th win with the team.

The Penguins’ next game is Friday at home against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, 7:05 p.m.

The Wheeling Nailers’ (11-7-0-0) road game against the Brampton Beast was postponed due to transportation issues Sunday.

No make-up date had been announced.
