Minor league report - Ebbett leads Penguins to overtime win

An overtime goal by center Andrew Ebbett gave the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (31-18-2-4) a 3-2 road win against the Hartford Wolf Pack Saturday.

Center Jayson Megna and defenseman Reid McNeill each scored goals for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton while goaltender Jeff Zatkoff made 29 saves.

The Penguins’ next game is Sunday on the road against the Bridgeport Sound Tiger, 3 p.m.

Center Jean-Sebastien Dea had a goal and an assist for the Wheeling Nailers (25-25-1-0) in a 4-3 home overtime loss to the Greenville Road Warriors.

Goaltender Eric Hartzell made 23 saves for Wheeling.

The Nailers’ next game is Sunday at home against the Road Warriors, 4:05 p.m.
