Minor league report - Penguins beat Senators, 3-1

Goaltender Matt Murray made 25 saves for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (38-21-3-4) in a 3-1 road win against the rival Binghamton Senators Friday.

Center Jayson Megna, right winger Carter Rowney and left winger Scott Wilson scored goals for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

The Penguins’ next game is on the road against the rival Lehigh Valley Phantoms Saturday, 7:05 p.m.

Former Robert Morris forward Cody Wydo had a goal and an assist for the Wheeling Nailers (31-30-1-1) in a 2-1 home win against the Fort Wayne Komets Friday.

Goaltender Eric Hartzell made 35 saves for Wheeling.

The Nailers’ next game is at home against the Reading Royals Saturday, 7:35 p.m.
