IIHF World Championship report - Crosby, Malkin to meet in final

A brief recap of Saturday’s semifinal round games in the IIHF World Championship tournament in the Czech Republic:

-Penguins captain/center Sidney Crosby had an assist for Canada in a 2-0 shutout of the Czech Republic.

-Penguins center Evgeni Malkin had a goal for Russia which beat the United States, 4-0.

Canada and Russia will square off in the championship game Sunday, 2:45 p.m. (EDT). The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports. The Czech Republic will face the United States in the consolation game at 10:15 p.m.
