Minor league report - Sprong leads Penguins past Bruins in overtime, 3-2

Two goals, including one in overtime, by right winger Daniel Sprong gave the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins a 4-3 home win against the Providence Bruins in Game 2 of their Atlantic Division semifinal series. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton leads the best-of-five series, 2-0.

Left winger Kael Mouillierat had two assists for the Penguins while defenseman Tim Erixon and right winger Tom Kostopoulos also scored goals for the Penguins. Goaltender Casey DeSmith made 30 saves in the victory.

Game 3 will be played in Providence Saturday, 7:05 p.m.
