Minor league report - Nailers fall in Game 1

Goaltender Brian Foster made 27 saves for the Wheeling Nailers in a 5-3 road loss to the Allen Americans in Game 1 of the Kelly Cup final Saturday.

Forwards Shane Bakker, John McCarron and Anton Zlobin scored goals for Wheeling.

Game 2 will be played at Allen Sunday, 5:05 p.m.
