There were no unexpected absences at the Penguins game-day skate at Consol Energy Center, held in advance of tonight's home game against the Buffalo Sabres.

Brian Gibbons skated on right wing on the top line with Sidney Crosby and Chris Kunitz, while Chuck Kobasew (who had been the primary top-line right winger lately) and Andrew Ebbett looked to be the odd men out at forward. Deryk Engelland, the swingman, was back on the fourth line as a winger.
