Injury updates

The headline is a bit of a misnomer. Coach Dan Bylsma did not have a lot in terms of updates on injured players.

He had no new information on defenseman Kris Letang, who is undergoing tests to determine the nature of an illness, but did say that Letang won't play Wednesday at Buffalo.

Winger Taylor Pyatt, who left Monday's game against Ottawa in the first minute, has an unspecified injury. He is expected to be out through the Olympic break.

Defenseman Brooks Orpik and Robert Bortuzzo, who did not practice, were given "maintenance days."
