The Penguins made the first two roster cuts of camp this morning, sending forward Tom Kostopoulos to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in the AHL and forward Jaden Lindo to his junior team, the Owen Sound of the OHL.

Kostopoulos dressed for Pittsburgh’s exhibition opener, a 1-0 shootout win at Columbus on Monday night but Lindo did not get a chance to play in any preseason games.

The two cuts bring the training camp roster down to 51 players with 30 forwards, 17 defensemen, and four goalies.

The Penguins, 2-0 this preseason, have a day off today before travelling to Detroit to face the Red Wings on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
