Minor league report - Jarry, Penguins shut out Devils, 4-0
Goaltender Tristan Jarry made 22 saves for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (19-5-0-0) in a 4-0 shutout at home of the Albany Devils Saturday. It was Jarry’s first career shutout of his AHL career.
It was also Wilkes-Barre/Scranton interim coach Jay Leach’s first career win. Center Kevin Porter scored two goals for the Penguins while captain/right winger Tom Kostopoulos added a goal and an assist.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s next game is Wednesday on the road against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, 7:05 p.m.
